SRL comprises feedlot, ranching, cropping and pecan nut businesses on two contiguous farms. Post-acquisition, a large dam was built and 500ha of pivot irrigation installed. Irrigated pastures and the addition of fodder production has enabled the development of the feedlot business through provision of low-cost feed. The business has moved up the value chain by adding feedlots and intends to add beef processing.
