Zamseed
Zamseed is an established seed business built around a well-known brand of some 40 years with a proprietary portfolio of seed products. Its main operations are currently in Zambia where it has an approximate 14% market share. The business has commenced expansion into other countries in the region. The company owns fixed assets in Zambia, including a head office complex and a farm in Lusaka. The company owns warehouses and storage infrastructure in three other locations in order to serve these regions. The company has a broad variety of seed products which are sold largely to smallholder farmers, with hybrid maize seed being the largest contributor to revenues.
